The hospice benefit is truly a gift to all beneficiaries who meet the hospice criteria. Unfortunately, sometimes we would like to do more for our patients but are limited by the Medicare guidelines with what we can do with Medicare funds.
With Medicare permission, we have arranged for a donation fund that we can use for patients needs that are not covered by Medicare. These funds are dedicated to provide items and services that provide comfort to patients or used as a means to provide care or equipment to keep patients in their own home.
